Blackheads

Blackheads' is the name given to the blackish bumps or plugs on the skin. They are nothing, but blocked pores that are filled with oil deposits and dead skin cells. A part of skin disease called acne; they usually appear on the face, back, chest and other parts of the body that have sebaceous glands. Blackheads are higher in number when compared to pimples or zits. They thrive in oily skin and get worsened when the latter is exposed to pollution.

Make solution with one cup of hot water and half a tablespoon of boric powder. It is an good remedy for blackheads. Saturate a face napkin in this hot solution and press on to the skin, repeat it twice. Extract blackheads carefully with a blackhead extractor and sterilized cottonwool. The blackhead extractor you use should be a sterlized one. Now put on astrigent lotion.

  • Steam your face for 5 minutes with the support of sterilized cotton wool and facial tissue to squeeze out blackheads.
  • Apply grated potatoes as poultice to cure skin blemishes, wrinkles, boils, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads , etc.

  • Make a paste of ground radish seeds with water and apply on face to get rid of blackheads. This works as the super natural home remedy for blackheads.
  • To make home remedy for blackheads; mix glycerin soap, fuller's earth (multani mutti), and almond powder in the ratio of 2:1:4 i.e. for each 20 gram of glycerin soap add 10 grams of fuller's earth with 40 grams of almond powder. Place boiled water and make a paste and apply on the blackheads.
  • Apply a paste of fresh fenugreek (methi) leaves in water over the face each night and wash with warm water in the morning for preventing blackheads and whiteheads.
